Privacy Policy
Medical Device Notice: PulsER is a CPR training and monitoring aid. It does not constitute medical advice and is not a substitute for certified CPR training or professional medical judgement. Session data collected is for training and performance review purposes only.
1. Who We Are
PulsER ("we", "us", "our") is developed and operated by Simmersive Unlimited Pvt Limited, led by Dr. Rajkumar Elanjeran (Director) and Dr. Anitha Ramkumar (Director). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency and care.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at: privacy@rapidcircuitry.com
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide the PulsER service:
- Account information: When you sign in via Google, we receive your name and email address from Google's authentication service.
- CPR session data: Compression rate (BPM), depth measurements, chest compression fraction (CCF), session duration, and performance scores recorded during CPR sessions.
- Device information: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device identifiers used to pair and connect your PulsER sensor. No BLE data is transmitted off-device.
- Usage data: App navigation patterns and crash reports to improve reliability (collected only where you have consented to analytics).
We do not collect: real patient identities, protected health information (PHI), location data, or any biometric data beyond the CPR metrics listed above.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and maintain your account session.
- To store and display your CPR session history within the app.
- To calculate and display performance metrics (BPM, CCF, depth scores).
- To provide OTA (over-the-air) firmware updates for your PulsER sensor.
- To improve app performance and fix bugs via aggregated, anonymised crash reports.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
CPR session records are stored encrypted at rest on your device using platform-native secure storage (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore). Session data synced to our backend is stored on Supabase infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
Your Google account credentials are never stored by PulsER — authentication is handled entirely by Google's OAuth 2.0 service. We only retain the user identifier and email returned by Google's API.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
5. Third-Party Services
PulsER integrates the following third-party services:
- Google Sign-In — authentication. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — backend database and authentication infrastructure. Governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services. We are not responsible for the data practices of third-party services.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and session history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, your session data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
Local on-device data is removed when you uninstall the app.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of PulsER after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
